Your data in FKNGYM
This policy covers the FKNGYM workout app, this website, and messages you send to FKNGYM support. You can use the app without creating a FKNGYM account.
The app stores the workouts, exercise names and categories, sets, weights, repetitions, durations, distances, notes, and workout templates you enter. It calculates training statistics from these records and saves preferences such as appearance and report settings.
These records provide your workout history, plans, timers, and progress reports. The app shares relevant workout summaries and timer state with its own widgets and Live Activities on your device, so they can display and update your training information.
FKNGYM does not send your workout database to a developer-operated server. The developer cannot browse your local workout records. If you choose to include records or screenshots in a support message, the information you send becomes part of that correspondence.
Workout data is stored locally. The current app does not provide CloudKit synchronization between devices. Depending on your system settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud device backup; a backup is separate from app synchronization. Restoring a device backup may restore older app records.
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. The app uses StoreKit transaction information, including the purchased product, subscription validity, and revocation status, to determine access to paid features. FKNGYM does not receive your payment card details. Apple keeps purchase records under its own policies.
When you email support@fkngym.com, the developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond, investigate the issue, and handle privacy requests. Email providers process the correspondence to deliver and store it. Send only what is needed to explain the issue.
FKNGYM does not sell personal information, include advertising networks, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising. Apple may process purchase, backup, and diagnostic information according to the services and sharing settings you enable. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to serve and secure the site under the GitHub Privacy Statement. This is separate from your workout records.
The site saves your selected language and App Store country or region in your browser’s local storage. You can remove these preferences by clearing site data. The site does not add advertising cookies or analytics scripts.
Local workout records remain until you delete them using the app’s editing and deletion controls or remove the app’s data. To remove the app and its local data, use Delete App in iPhone storage settings; Offload App keeps documents and data. Backups are managed separately in your Apple device and iCloud settings. The developer cannot remotely delete your device data or Apple backups.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. You can request its deletion at support@fkngym.com; if any information must be retained, we will explain why. Apple and GitHub control retention of the information they process under their own policies.
Deleting workout data or the app does not cancel an App Store subscription. See subscription management.
You control what you enter in the app and send to support. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information held in support correspondence, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact support@fkngym.com and describe your request. We can help with information we hold; we cannot retrieve a workout database stored only on your device.
FKNGYM is not specifically directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date. If the app’s data handling changes, the policy will be updated to describe it.
